Studio Etiquette

Rules for the Class

Please Note

A respectful space to learn

These simple guidelines help every student practise with ease, focus and respect for the art.

  • For all students to practise with ease and comfort, parents are kindly requested not to be present during practice.
  • Please drop children on time, or five minutes before practice begins.
  • Due to scheduling, only one missed session may be made up each month with another group. (No private lessons can be scheduled.)
  • Please leave footwear outside, at the front, to keep the environment clean.
  • Out of respect for the Kathak art form, kindly do not eat or drink during the practice session.
  • Please bring your ghunghroo and a notebook to every session.
  • All students are requested to come in Indian outfits.
